Mynydd y Gwair is a £52million capital investment and has already significantly contributed towards the Welsh economy. Construction supported over 20 Welsh businesses, 15 jobs starts, over 50 direct jobs and hundreds of indirect jobs.
Mynydd y Gwair has an annual community investment fund amounting to £240,000 each year it is operational.
The first round of funding from the Mynydd y Gwair Wind Farm Community Fund was awarded in May 2019, with 12 different groups from the local community receiving funding.
