Prior to main construction starting, RES held a meet-the-buyer event to encourage local businesses to register their interest in the project as a way of maximise local economic spend.

At its peak, 85 people were employed on-site during construction, with most of these workers living locally, creating significant revenue for accommodation providers.
The vast majority of the stone and concrete supplies used during construction were sourced from the local quarry and local drivers were employed to deliver materials to the site.
